Cyanotype printing is a classic photographic medium that creates beautiful visuals in Prussian blue on several types of materials i.e. paper, fabric, wood, shell. This printing technique is commonly known as “blueprint” and it plays a significantly important role in photography history when it was used to produce the world’s first photography book.

In Photo Hanoi ‘23 Biennale, visual artist Pham Tuan Ngoc will host a Cyanotype workshop in 3 hours, guiding participants through the process of manually printing selected objects on Vietnamese silk. He is also the creator of the Eternal Flow collection, using Cyanotype printing technique on classic Vietnamese silk. This is an opportunity for art lovers to experience the creative process firsthand.
