In an era of rapidly evolving technology, especially with the emergence of AI, photography continues to expand its boundaries and intersect with other art forms. How, then, do we define “photography as photography”? What is the role and meaning of photography today? And how important is this redefinition in today’s context? The talk “Redefining the meanings of photography in the age of AI” is structured around 03 themes that invite participants to reflect on the future. These include: photography intersecting with other art forms; clarifying and redefining the core values of photographic practice in the age of AI; and the role of photography festivals within the arts and cultural ecosystem of a city or a nation.
